Barr Lake Cherokee Rexwinkle Memorial Shoot - June 16, 2012
With heavy hearts and saddened spirits the COBF held the tournament at Barr Lake to honor young member Cherokee Rexwinkle who lost his life in an automobile accident on June 6, 2012.
Twelve teams competed in the tournament in addition to many people that were seeing bowfishing for the first time. A total of 33 fish was taken.

Non-COBF team Boats and Bows took first place in this inaugural charity shoot with a 5 fish total of 57.4#. Even though the prize money was donated to assist the Rexwinkle family with expenses, Boats and Bows took home a very impressive bag of sponsor donated prizes. Congratulations on their win.
Once again claiming Third place with a 5 fish total weight of 36.6# One Man Show. This place was closely heated finishing only 6oz heavier then the next team. Good shooting and congrats to John on his placing.

Once again placing in the prizes, COBF team Last Minute shot a 5 fish total weight of 55.8# to claim second place, definitely becoming a standard in the 2012 tournament series and moving even further ahead in points. Congratulations Last Minute on your very impressive and consistent placing in 2012.

D.O.A. – 4th Place Bass Turds – 5th Place Double Tap – 6th Place Carp Nutz – 7th Place The remainder of the teams had a tough time on the water and were not able to connect with the fish. |

Total Numbers Side Pot was taken by Boats and Bows with 10 fish earning them a total pot of $210. Good shooting guys.
The Shorebound Division was once again won by Double Tap.

For the first time in COBF history, there was actually a tie for Heaviest Fish between Bass Turds and Last Minute with a weight of 13.4#. The teams generously donated their winnings back to the shoot.
