Eleven Mile Reservoir Mountain Madness III - July 13, 2013
Going in to the third year of a Tournament at Eleven Mile State Park with having 10 teams showing up to shoot some of the clearest water in the state. The day started out slow like years past but some teams were seeing fish all day long with almost all the teams shooting fish. With the afternoon bringing the normal afternoon thunder storm to rain out the weigh-in but breaking long enough for all the teams staying to see how the winners were.
1st place Team Head Shot with 57lb big 5 and taking big fish with a 17.2lb heaviest fish and shooting 13 fish for total numbers.
3rd place Team Carp Nuts with 49.6lb big 5

Congrats to all competing teams this year.
Over all, 2013′s tournament season was a success! there were scattered fish and questionalble waters throuought the season, but with this years tournament series at an end we can look back on both good and bad days and nights on the water and hope that 2014 brings ample water and the fish are abundant.
The 2013 season up held the mission of the COBF:
- To preserve the sport of bowfishing for current and future generations in Colorado.
- To increase awareness and educate the public about the sport of bowfishing.
- To promote the safe and ethical take of legal fish species with a bow.
- To maintain and increase opportunities for bowfishing in Colorado.
- To cooperate with federal and state wildlife agencies, Colorado Division of Wildlife, conservation organizations and sportsmen’s associations in managing fisheries in Colorado as well as any others who have goals parallel to the COBF with regards to bowfishing, fishing, hunting and outdoor sportsmanship.
- To develop the spirit of good fellowship among all bowfishermen and bowfisherwomen.
